ABOUT ME

In 2012 I finished my PhD entitled "In a network state of mind" under supervision of prof. Kees Stam and prof. Philip Scheltens at the VU University. (Please click the image for a PDF version)

Since then, I have been combining neurology residency and research at the VU Medical Center.

Since August 2018, I am working as a neurologist for the Alzheimer Center of the VUmc, as well as a post-doc researcher on the topic of neurophysiology of dementia.

Other activities include project management for EEG analysis in Alzheimer-related pharmacological trials, student education on the subjects of dementia, neurophysiology and network neuroscience, and neurological e-learning development.
